Arctic Scandinavia
The true final frontier.
It’s only in the last couple of decades that wetsuit technology has opened the upper latitudes for surf exploration. It ain’t easy, but it sure is rewarding when you finally score.
If your dream is to name your own wave then, you’ve come to the right place. If you’re a bit skeptical about the cold, fear not. We have years of experience surfing in the most challenging temperatures - we have everything you need to stay warm.
What we love:
An true adventure across the world’s most dramatic landscapes
A mix of unique housing options, from luxury glamping to cabins that are older than the country you come from
A potential to visit up to 3 different countries in one trip
What we’ll deal with:
Fierce storms that close roads and ground planes
Unpredictable long-term swell prognosis, translating to many last-minute travel decisions
Lack of culinary options once we’ve left the cities (we do alotta cooking over the fire)
Who is this trip especially made for?
You like an unpredictable adventure where we take things a day at a time.
You don’t mind some hours of travelling using all kinds of modes of transportation as long as the view out the window always looks like a postcard.
You’re open to new board-riding experiences should the conditions allow, think river-surfing, powder-surfing or downwind stand-up paddle deep within the fjords.
You want an authentic experience in an area of the world with some of the most well-preserved history from more than a thousand years ago.

Our own channel w/ limited updates
Instagram of Charly @finnmark_surf, a surf-guide we’ve partnered with up north. We can basically guarantee a strike-mission with him while you’re in Norway.
The general idea for the trip:
As mentioned before, we never make an itinerary for our trips. Instead, we pick a base-of-operations, usually Oslo on this trip, and then we have options to use any and all modes of transportation to get to where the surf will be best. Of any of our trips on offer, this trip often ends up being the most spontaneous. We won’t divulge specifics here, but here are some general ideas for what’s on the menu:
Road-trip from Oslo through fjord country to surf some of the outer islands of western Norway
Day-trip from Oslo to surf local fickle waves in sea or river
Flight out to islands in the Atlantic, where we utilize local-knowledge to score in some of the most remote places in northern Europe
Flight to the far-north of Norway, one of the few places in the world with there are waves that are yet to be named
A short flight or train-ride to catch a Baltic or Kattegat swell
