What’s payment like for this course?

We’re working on a budget, and the final price depends entirely on what the participants want: How much of the 400km+ long coastline do we need to check? How often are we using the boat or snowmobiles? How many meals a day are we cooking for you?

Let's do a quick calculation:

• General pricing of a 2-day Wilderness First Aid course is around 2000 kr (< $200) for just the course

• Ski- and mountain-guiding goes for between 1000-6000 (~ $100-$600) per person per day, depending on the difficulty of the trip and how much loaner gear is involved. Let’s put our trip on the lower end of that scale, though we do provide most of the gear.

• Northern lights lavvo experiences are between 2000-3000kr per person per night.

• A cheap dinner in Norway costs easily 300kr.

• Boat/snowmobile tours vary greatly in price, but let’s put a very modest price tag of 2000kr on that.

Given our offer includes all these elements over potentially 4 days, some quick rounding puts this at a value of around 15.000 kr (~$1400).

Will we charge this much? Likely not. This weekend is us sharing our passion with others, so we’re gonna do what we can to fill this thing up. Minimum of 5 people for it make financial sense, preferably 8 to bring down the costs.
